Daffodil DB is a SQL-99 and JDBC standards compliant Java RDBMS.
It is the first Java database having the capability to take on enterprise databases with its high
performance in real time environments.
Daffodil DB is available in both enterprise and open source versions. Its open source
version is also known as One$DB. Daffodil DB open source and enterprise versions have same features
and functionality. The only difference is in their licensing policy.
Daffodil DB is now compatible with
Compiere (an open source ERP+CRM software with over 800,000 downloads),
which is a demanding product in terms of database requirements. It is compatible with most of the
leading brands of Application Servers, Web Servers, JDO, and Object Mapping tools.
Daffodil DB is available in both
Embedded and Network Editions.
